Peter's Love for Jesus and Denial Prophecy
In John 21:15-19, Jesus questions Peter about his love three times, emphasizing Peter's role in shepherding His followers. This dialogue reveals Peter's devotion and Jesus' foresight of Peter's denial. Later, in John 13:34-38, Peter confidently declares his willingness to sacrifice for Jesus, only to be forewarned of his threefold denial. These passages underscore the complexity of human loyalty and the importance of unconditional love among believers.
