people asked about taking part in research and said how nice it was to hear about it from real full time working therapists instead of researchers. It was a really rewarding experience I start a new job soon in Tameside and they picked me because of my research stuff, here's hoping they remain keen and I can make a real positive impact on the team
Our team has decided to make 2014 our 'Year of Evaluation'... every SALT and Assistant SALT will undertake one piece of evaluation. The projects are diverse and reflect our interests and working situations. The point of doing the 'Year of Evaluation' is to develop a collective and diverse body of evidence of Speech & Language Therapy for our population... As such it is a starting point for future participation in more academic research. Heidi Keeling , Nottinghamshire Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
Over to YOU... Over to YOU... Remember what you bring to the profession! You have the research skills You are up to date with the evidence We need you Good luck and keep in touch! emma.pagnamenta@rcslt.org
