Osteopathy is a system of diagnosis and treatment for a wide
range of health conditions.
It is recognised by the NHS and well known for effective
treatment of musculoskeletal disorders such as back pain,
neck pain, joint and muscle pain.
It has an excellent safety record and is suitable for patients of
all ages.
Treatment is usually very gentle, involving a combination of
mobilisation, manipulation and soft tissue massage to help
improve function.
As osteopaths are independently regulated primary
healthcare professionals, patients don’t need to be referred by
their GP

Slide Note

This presentation template has been created to help iO members to promote their services to businesses who might refer employees to you. It is an opportunity to educate employers or managers about the benefits of osteopathy and the services that your practice can provide to help employees avoid sickness absence or low productivity that may be caused by conditions that osteopaths can treat. You can edit the wording to suit your own style of practice and the individual services that you offer. In particular you should note the areas in grey which are intended to indicate areas that can be personalised.
