The basics In 1998, became Scouting s National Honor Society Members live a life of unselfish service to others
Purpose Recognize those who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily life Provide cheerful service to the BSA and community
Purpose Develop youth leaders dedicated to the betterment of others Inspire fellowship and brotherhood amongst membership

Requirements for Membership Member of a Boy Scout troop or Varsity team Achieved the rank of First Class Experience 15 nights of camping in the last 2 years 5 days of which at a long-term Boy Scout summer camp Gain the approval of your unit leader Be under the age of 21 Be elected by the youth members of your troop or team
Election Rules Voters are encouraged to write down the names of those candidates who they believe best exemplify the ideals of the Boy Scouts of America Voters can vote for as many or as few eligible candidates as they want Candidates must receive [Blank*] votes to be considered elected
