Nuclear Data Project: Evaluation, Validation, and Sensitivity Analyses
A new nuclear data project focuses on validation in minor actinide and fission product data with the evaluation of 37.6 integral experiments. Priorities include S/U analysis and reduction strategies to meet budget goals. Funding supports new integral experiments for nuclear data validation and large-scale projects for cross-section studies and depletion calculations.

New nuclear data project Evaluation of LOI: Nuclear data validation, sensitivity analyses and priorities Michal Kostal, LR-0 reactor lab, Rez SANDA 2 meeting, July 10th, 2023, CIEMAT, Madrid, Spain
Summary Lot of LOI 37 6 integral experiments LOI (but in 5 I have conflict of interests) The evaluated project aims on essential validation in minor actinide and fission product data 15 LOI in Nuclear data validation 13 of them focused on older or benchmark data (so not too many funding needed as acces into ICSBEP / IRPhEP / SINBAD is free) 16 S/U analysis 13 of them focus on clasical systems so ideal as PhD thesis Ranking 4 reduction by 0.9 or close to 100kE ( 6 LOI ) 3 reduction by ~ 0.15 . To reach reliable budget and inclusion as most as possible groups 2 not evaluated
New integral experiments New integral experiments . this should be supported because: A. Trkov: there are benchmarks with ridiculously small uncertainties. Out of about 800 benchmarks in my collection there are more than 40 with uncertainties smaller than 70 pcm (see icsbep_dk.lst). The winner is HEU-COMP-MIXED-003 with less than 1 pcm uncertainty!!! Unrealistic uncertainties distort figures of merit when comparing the performance of different evaluated data libraries. .
