PREPERATION Prepare for Common Questions Tell me a little about yourself . Name Hometown School Plans Maybe 1 hook What area of (insert field here) do you see your self specializing in? Where do you see yourself in 5 10 years? What do you see as the trends in (insert industry here)?
PREPARATION Prepare Questions for the Interviewer: Use this to do the following: Show your knowledge of the position, company and industry. See if this is the right fit for you. Company trends? What are you looking for in someone for this position? What is the prevailing management style?
PREPARATION What do you want them to know about you: Make a list of skills, qualities and experiences that you want to be sure get out during the interview.
PREPARATION Your Game Look Clothing: Neat, Professional, according to company/industry standards Hair: Neat, tidy, professional Shoes: comfortable but professional Body Art: To cover or not
THE INTERVIEW Smile Firm handshake. Maintain eye contact. Stay calm. Be confident. Make sure you answer the questions. Don t get rattled by an unexpected question Take notes
