  3. Sample Division Problem Liam made 12 tacos. He wants to give 2 tacos each to his friends. How many friends can get tacos? Write a number sentence and solve.

  5. Parts of the Problem 12 2 = 6 What does the 12 represent? What does the 2 represent? What does the 6 represent?

  6. Alternative Situations 12 tacos, 3 to each friend 12 tacos, 4 to each friend Which situation would allow Liam to give tacos to more friends? Why?

  7. Problem 1 Angelina has 10 strawberries. If she has 1 friend over, how many strawberries will each girl get if they share equally?

  8. Problem 2 Kevin has 16 gloves. If there are 2 gloves in each pair, how many pairs does he have? Solve and explain.
