Land Acknowledgement We acknowledge that our campus at King's University College is situated on the traditional territories of the Anishinaabek, Haudenosaunee, L naap ewak, and Chonnonton peoples, all of whom have long standing relationships to the land of Southwestern Ontario and the City of London. The First Nations communities of our local area include Chippewas of the Thames First Nation, Oneida Nation of the Thames, and Munsee Delaware Nation. In our region, there are eleven First Nations communities, as well as a growing Indigenous urban population. King's University College values the significant historical and contemporary contributions of local and regional First Nations, and all of the Original Peoples of Turtle Island (also known as North America).

Cardinal Carter Library Update November 14th 2023 Uwo and Affiliated Libraries and Middlesex County Library partnered with The Canadian Library to launch MMIWG(2S) micro gallery installations across London First city wide contribution to larger national micro gallery Both to educate and remember the missing and murdered indigenous women, girls and children and 2LGBTQI+ The Canadian Library s larger goal is to gather all the installations nationwide and bring them to an exhibition Book Wrapping event in early January
Special Request Enough fabric for 50 books If of interest of KUCSC to expand this exhibition potentially expand budget for fabric, tape, and gold names If any KUCSC folks have books that they would be willing to donate to the project Hard cover dimensions are specific The topic does not Dimensions must be no more than 33 cm/ 13 in in height with a spine no less than 3.8cm/1.5in

Gathered new and updated club bios and message from the president from each club! Reached out to USC and BUCSC s website connections to discuss possible alternatives hosts for the KUCSC Website In-person KUCSC advertisements Comms request form Welcomed Ali Walker to the Communications portfolio as a Promo Commissioner (Shout out <3) Help finalize game room orders (keep an eye out during student appreciation week!) Filmed Exec Intro Video with YSK Media Helped be apart of EDID s new video series (check out their video about microaggressions) Put out statement about King s Ball

Motion: Approve Policy Recommendations on AI University Affairs portfolio sought council's endorsement of Policy Recommendations on AI Goal is to advocate on behalf of students when it comes to academic integrity and integration through use of AI. Motion passed 11 recommendations as of this time.
Motion: Student Services Budget Redistribution Goal is to better support for each portfolio. Student Services is a new executive portfolio Certain coordinators no longer needed=> more budget space of 18'000$ 2'000$ into the Grants and Recognition budget 7'000$ into Early Outreach portfolio 9'000$ into Food Support Services Budget Motion Passed.
Executive Report: Brescia Clare Hall will remain all women's residence if there is a demand for it. Sunday discussed potential changes to governance structure, orientation program, and council composition. Sunday has offered full-time staff support to assist BUCSC executive team. Also agreed to offer Maathangi and the BUCSC executives Financial, Human Resources and Governance aid. Added to the "Provost Advisory Committee", provide student voice and representation.
Quick Extra: Sophs Survey Survey Results of VP of Programming and Orientation (Meredith McFarlane) 97% of respondents indicated that they felt their sophs did well (to some extent) in helping them meet other incoming students 96% of respondents indicated that they felt their sophs did well (to some extent) in introducing them to other students and help build friendships amongst the members of your Soph group 100% of respondents indicated that they felt their sophs did well (to some extent) in connecting them with resources on campus 99% of respondents indicated that they felt their sophs did well (to some extent) in helping their transition to university
