Knowledge Sharing and Inclusive Development Policies
Knowledge Platform on Inclusive Development Policies (INCLUDE) focuses on enhancing research utilization in policy-making to foster more inclusive development. It was established in 2012 with the aim of bridging the gap between research and policy processes in African countries. INCLUDE engages experts from various sectors to develop research agendas, share existing knowledge, and link research to policy and practice, with a particular focus on productive employment, strategic actors, and social protection. The organization facilitates knowledge generation, sharing, and uptake to improve policies and practices, involving stakeholders like researchers, policymakers, civil society, and advocacy groups. Activities include evidence-based knowledge creation, synthesizing existing knowledge, and fostering communication channels to target end-users effectively.
