Must be filled out in its entirety to be considered
Must be free of grammatical or typographical errors
Can only be given to a Key Club or Key Club member
Requires an adult advisor (Faculty Advisor, Kiwanis Advisor,
or school administrator) and approval by the school principal
KCI doesn’t 
require 
an already existing project, but approval
more likely if pre-planned
 
 
 
How it’s Graded
 
Committee of five International Board members who review:
Meets all of the requirements/guidelines?
Describes
 the community need for the project?
Clearly identified outcomes?
Is money specifically stated and budget clear and appropriate?
Are there opportunities for products or services donations?
Plan for communication results?
Plan to measure or evaluate results?
 
Funding
 
KCI contacts in January awarded clubs
Full funding, partial funding, or no funding
Grants given on a 
reimbursement 
basis only
Must send to KI all receipts and proofs of payment and
final budget
