What Is CONTROCC? It is the new Social Care financial system It is replacing Carefirst, RAS & NAS systems It links directly to IAS Serving the people of Cumbria
CONTROCC Benefits IAS-CONTROCC direct link Reduces paperwork and duplication Improves quality of data Rationalises Payments & Charging CONTROCC developed alongside IAS both being developed in line with current and future recording requirements eg Care Act, Provider & Customer Portals Serving the people of Cumbria
CONTROCC Does Payments Contains all Providers, Contracts, Services Calculates payments to Providers Exports payments to E5 system to pay Providers Serving the people of Cumbria
CONTROCC Does Charging Incorporates Financial Assessments Calculates charges to Customers Links to Direct Debit system Exports charges and income to Statements Invoicee details always go on CONTROCC Funding arrangements such as GDC are flagged in CONTROCC (send case note to CFO) Serving the people of Cumbria
CONTROCC and the Way You Work All Contract information comes from CONTROCC Services all loaded in CONTROCC Cannot add a service to IAS unless it is in CONTROCC Serving the people of Cumbria
CONTROCC and the Way You Work Service start and end dates become vital They determine when Provider is paid and Customer is charged Services need to be provisioned in IAS as soon as possible in order to make them active in CONTROCC Service suspensions and restarts now done through IAS (also need a case note to DSA/Provider) Serving the people of Cumbria
CONTROCC and the Way You Work Different Services/Rates from same Provider need separate contracts eg Supported Living day/night; Day Care; & Transport - different routes Every Respite Period needs a separate Service Order Serving the people of Cumbria
CONTROCC and the Way You Work Direct link from IAS to Finance System: Rollbacks will be restricted IAS team will not be able to change service dates in IAS Serving the people of Cumbria
CONTROCC and the Way You Work Brokerage may begin later this year training and information to follow For now, practitioners will add SPO as before Then provision SPO as soon as possible after authorisation Then send case note to DSA so they can send paperwork to Provider Serving the people of Cumbria
CONTROCC and the Way You Work Financial Assessments: New link to Register Person with CONTROCC New link to request Financial Assessment No change for Practitioner send contact to CFO CFO will register person with CONTROCC CFO will process Financial Assessment and record it through CONTROCC Serving the people of Cumbria
