The Integrated Planning and Budget Taskforce, led by Chair Kristy Lisle, is open to Tri-Chairs from various departments. The taskforce focuses on redesigning program review guidelines and proposing program eliminations for budget savings. This summer, the focus is on developing program review templates to ensure program viability criteria emerge naturally.

  2. Taskforce Membership Membership is open to all Tri-Chairs from: Basic Skills, Classified Senate, OPC, PARC, SEW, Transfer Workgroup, Workforce, Research Office, and Academic Senate Taskforce Chair Kristy Lisle Facilitator Ram Subramaniam Recorder Kelaiah Harris

  3. IP&B Charge Redesign of Program Review: Outline a proposal for a process to develop new program review guidelines for implementation 2019-20, including suggestions for a purpose, process, and templates. The proposal would go the new governance Council.

  4. IP&B Charge Program Elimination for Budget Reduction: Develop a proposal to the new governance Council for determining program discontinuance necessary to meet targets for budget savings. The proposal may include criteria, the rationale for their inclusion, as well as suggestions for a process of review. The new governance Council may utilize the proposal as a foundation for its consideration or reject in part or in whole the proposal.

  5. Process for Working This Summer Start working on Program Review Templates Start first with academic program review template As the process for re-development of the templates happens, criteria for program viability will naturally emerge from the dialogue
