We Have Seen His Star MATTHEW 2:2-3 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. 3 When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
BEGINNING & ENDING: GENTILE.DISPENSATION 20 Do you see it? Someone can stand next to you and see things that you can't see to save your life. Someone said, "I don't believe that; I never seen nothing." Because it wasn't for you to see it None of them saw the star that crossed every observatory but the wise men. Many things that God has designated for certain peoples to see and others cannot see. I love that. When God in His infinite wisdom has predestinated or foreordained for certain things to happen, it could happen to the person setting right next to you and you'll know nothing about it. 55-0109E We Have Seen His Star 6
HIS.UNFAILING.WORDS.OF.PROMISE 13 We have to preach salvation the same way, that "salvation is for all," but we know that all cannot receive It. All man cannot see these things. Jesus said, "Blessed are your eyes that can see, your understanding, for there is many that cannot understand It." 14 And Divine healing is for people who believe. But, you cannot believe until Something is within you, to make you believe. 64-0120 We Have Seen His Star 7
Ecclesiastes 7:8 Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit. ECCLESIASTES 1:18 For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow. ECCLESIASTES 7:1 A good name is better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of one's birth. We Have Seen His Star 8
JESUS.CHRIST.THE.SAME In the Name of the Lord I say this: Blessed is your eyes, and your ears for you see things that many in the back generations has longed to see, and failed to see it. Blessed are your ears which are hearing, for you hear things that many has longed to hear, and failed to hear it. God bless you. 52-0810 We Have Seen His Star 9
DIVINE.HEALING 9 And all the error and everything there is about it, there's something about it that the world tries to make it an Xmas... But God still's got a Christmas in it somewhere, hasn't He? He sure has. He's got something about it, just the very names, and the thoughts of the birth of the Lord Jesus. Oh, the world's put Santa Claus in His place, sure, but not to the Christian. It's still a Christmas. 54-1219 We Have Seen His Star 10
FROM.THE.BEGINNING.IT.WASN'T.SO 8 Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, a day that's set aside where our pilgrim forefathers set that day aside to give thanks to God for what He had done for us, for blessing them, giving them crops and so forth. It's one real American day. All the other days, like St. Patrick's, so forth, come from across the seas. But this is an American holiday: Thanksgiving Day. We Have Seen His Star 11
Tell your children about it. Tell them that this nation was built upon such as that. Our forefathers who fought to bring this freedom to us and left the other country so that we could have freedom of worship, and freedom of speech, of press. And we're thankful yet for it. We don't know how long it will last that way, but I say this, "Long may our lands be bright with freedom's holy light; protect us by Thy might, great God, our King." 59-1125 We Have Seen His Star 12
REVELATION 18:3-4 3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. 4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. GOD'S.GIFTS.ALWAYS.FIND.THEIR.PLACES 20 But what difference does it make? ...if they was doing it in July or August, it's still the sacredness of remembering that "God gave us the hope that we have in us." And now, you say, "Well, the rest of them's all Santa Claus and going on like they do; why, we just might as well do it." No! No, this is not a pagan celebration, this is a sacred hour. If there had been no Christmas, there would been no resurrection. If there been no Christmas: there'd been no love, there'd been no peace, there'd been no hereafter for the believer; if there'd been no Christmas. 63-1222 We Have Seen His Star 14
MATTHEW 2:1-3 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, 2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. 3 When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, (took away his calmness, troubled) and all Jerusalem with him. JOHN 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. We Have Seen His Star 15
AT.THY.WORD.LORD.I'LL.LET.DOWN.THE.NET When they [Pharisees] were in there arguing on what kind of buttons they should have on their coats, three magis, fortunetellers, stargazers come from the east following a star and found Him. It's true. And the clergy was wondering what kind of buttons they ought to wear on their clothes and how they must dress, having D.D.'s and so forth to their names. Just the history just repeating itself. And there laid the gift of God laying there. 54-1207 We Have Seen His Star 16
AT.THY.WORD 47 you remember, the wise men, what did they see when they followed to Jesus? Nobody else saw it. It passed right over the observatory, every planetarium And every city had a planetarium. They kept time by the stars And isn't it strange that them wise men went right through city after city, city after city, following a star that even the stargazers and the men in the planetarium in telling the time and things, never saw nothing of it? They were looking for it... You get what you expect. 51-0928 We Have Seen His Star 17
GENESIS 41:8 And it came to pass in the morning that his spirit was troubled; and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt, and all the wise men thereof: and Pharaoh told them his dream EXODUS 7:11 Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. ESTHER 1:13 Then the king said to the wise men, which knew the times, (for so was the king's manner toward all that knew law and judgment: We Have Seen His Star 18
WHY.IT.HAD.TO.BE.SHEPHERDS 42 Even when the wise men in the east had looked down southwestward, from where they were at in Babylon, saw a majestic star. Did you know there's not a speck of history, nowhere, says that any of them seen that star at all. Why? It wasn't given to them, they wasn't looking for such. But these wise man knowed that there would be a Star of Jacob rise, and they were looking for It, and It passed from the time that Jesus was borned in Bethlehem... 64-1221 We Have Seen His Star 19
NUMBERS 24:15-17 And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said: 16 He hath said, which heard the words of God, and knew the knowledge of the most High, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open: I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth. THE.THYATIREAN.CHURCH.AGE 79 [Ahab] brought idolatry into Israel. And what did Jezebel do? She killed every prophet she could get her hands on. So did the popes. Every true Christian they'd get their hands on, they killed them. But there was a star of that age, old Elijah! He wasn't scared, tell them about it. Yes, sir! He was God's star of that age. Got down to one time he said, "Lord, I'm the only one left. God said, "Now, wait a minute, Elijah. I done got 700 hid out around, in yonder. You don't know where they're at. 60-1208 We Have Seen His Star 21
The Seven Church Ages Pergamos Philadelphia Smyrna Thyatira Sardis Laodicea Ephesus REVELATION 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. REVELATION 1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
The.Unveiling.Of.God 184 It's been veiled through these ages, according to what God said, and it will be opened in the last days, those Seven Seals would be broke, and the full thing would come into view of the people, what's took place all along. The hour of the seventh angel's message, all the mysteries of God should be made known in that Elijah, this last hour. 64-0614 We Have Seen His Star 23
SHOUT, VOICE, TRUMPET: For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. I Thes. 4:16-17 We Have Seen His Star 24
Star of the Last Days: REVELATION 10:1-2 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: 2 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth 10:7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets. We Have Seen His Star 25
MODERN.EVENTS 74 The man who's seen the vision or heard His voice, never altogether understood It. In many cases he didn't know, because he's just an instrument of God. It's God's thoughts expressed through man's lips; a thought, course, is a word expressed. God does His Own choosing by His predestinated choosing. He done it in every age, He set forth the man for each age. Like when Moses, when he was to fulfill what He told to Abraham. 65-1206 We Have Seen His Star 26
TRYING.TO.DO.GOD.A.SERVICE But now is the Bride-calling, now is when the SEVEN SEALS has been opened, now when the complete things that the reformers left has to be opened; and only Malachi 4 can do that, because it takes the revelation straight from God to an individual to do so. It can't come to a group, never did. One man! That's what God promised in the shadows of the coming for His Bride, an Eliezer. 65-1127 We Have Seen His Star 27
UNCERTAIN.SOUND 62 All of Israel, of the tens of thousands that there was in them days (around four million)... And there was a hundred and twenty heard His voice, out of four million. If the rapture would come tonight, it would be scary if I'd tell you what I think would happen. It's true. 62-0714 We Have Seen His Star 28
