Well defined algorithms which have led to qualitatively new insight Courageous experimental colleagues Remarkable talent!

Short Term Launch an annual workshop on Materials Design Develop a Website with pedagogical lectures (video/audio), lecture notes, simulations, papers Look for support from ICAM/ACP/KITP , foundations, agencies, donors, etc Critical focus: interaction between theory and experiment on complex materials

  4. Longer Term Establish collaborative critical mass size teams teams of chemists, physicists, and materials and computational scientists working together on specific scientific projects
