Cognitive abilities
Nutrition also provides a feeling of attachment related to feelings such as trust or safety as
well as satisfaction
Parents can consider
:
Paying attention to your child's routines and needs – do not neglect them!
Stay up to date on what is healthy for your child
Make sure to check labels and make sure child is getting proper nutrients – do not assume everything
curated for an infant is healthy.

A healthy, safe environment that is related to the child's certain age group does not push them past their
potential as well as allow growth towards their full potential
Parents can consider
:
Carefully choosing furniture
Making sure toys are for correct age group
How will something in the environment affect the child?
Most important – Safety!

EMOTIONAL/SOCIAL INFLUENCER

Technology
 
Technology can be a great thing to provide entertainment or sometimes even educational experiences,
however, there must be 
healthy screen-time habits.
Do NOT use technology as a bribe or a way to soothe your child – especially when they are as
susceptible to their surroundings as an infant!
Be careful as a child's life could easily become limited to a screen.
Parents can consider:
Limiting screen time to 30 minutes to an hour a day
Making it a "special privilege" rewarded for good behavior, rather than "if you stop crying I will put on your
favorite show"
Allow child to be adventurous and explore their surroundings!
Do activites outside!
