Introduction 6 FoM has identified a gap in standardization of reports of the field works, project assignments submitted by undergraduate and graduate students. Objectives of the Study 8 The general objective of this study is to achieve uniformity in summer project report writing in BBA/ BIM programs throughout Tribhuvan University. Literature Survey 9 Workshops improve the knowledge base of the faculty (Panta, P.R., 2016). Workshops and trainings significantly improves the skill of the faculties and students but measurement (Bajracharya, P. 2017). A study of Adhikary D.R. (2016) found mixed results on the findings by Bajracharya (2017) and Panta (2016). their effectiveness needs Above findings showed that there is a need to evaluate the impact of such program and needs further study. 3/8/2025 Workshop on Summer Project of BIM and BBA
Methodology 10 Based on Literature survey, questionnaires were developed with valid instruments and scale. A survey had been conducted to measure the effectiveness of the program. Out of 80 participants of the Workshop, 30 participants were surveyed based on the random sampling method. Sampling All participants were listed alphabetically in excel with SN and a RAND(1:80) function used to select the participants. Survey was conducted with the randomly selected respondents. Findings 11 Out of 30 participants, majority (70%) of the participants found workshop was beneficial. Almost all (98%) participants found variation on guidelines for report writing format of BIM and BBA. A promising, 75% of the participants opinioned the guidelines shall be able to standardize the format of report writing. Only 40% of the participants believed, workshop shall be able to improve the quality of management education in Nepal. 3/8/2025 Workshop on Summer Project of BIM and BBA
Findings 12 Almost all (97%) participants found selection of location to organize the program was excellent. A majority, 60% of the participants believe that, area of improvement exists in program organization part. 3/8/2025 Workshop on Summer Project of BIM and BBA
Conclusions 13 The workshop was effective to fulfill its objectives. Such programs need to be conducted in other areas and to all faculty members. Identified gaps on organization part can be fulfilled in future programs.
