Television violence has a significant influence on children's behavior as they may become desensitized to violence and even mimic what they see on TV. Parents need to monitor and limit their children's TV viewing, engage in discussions, and block inappropriate content to protect them from negative effects.

BACKGROUNG Development of media platforms has been particularly important in morden days Television plays an instrumental role of informing, entertaining and educating the People of society In this morden days radio, television, movies, videos, video games, cell phones, and computer networks have came on central roles in our children s daily lives. The worse the mass media are have made impact on our children s values, beliefs, and behaviors.
CAUSES OF CHILD AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOUR These days, just about every time you turn on the TV you're met with a barrage of violent images including explosions, suicide bombings, and war casualties. And that's just the news! Many popular television shows -- even those in the so-called "family" time slot of 7-8:30 p.m. -- also feature much more violence than shows aired in this time slot just a few years ago. American children watch an average of four hours of television daily. Television can be a powerful influence in developing value systems and shaping behavior.
Unfortunately, much of todays television programming is violent. Hundreds of students of the studies has been effects of TV violence on children as well as teenagers . it was found that children may become immune or numb to the horror of violence seen by them in shows. gradually they accept violence to solve problems. Copy the violence they observe on television, and apply in day to day life. As a parent, it is your duty that child's first line of defense. It's your job to protect your child from the negative factors of TV violence and protect them from the problems resulting from such shows
Some Suggestions Pay attention to what your children are watching. Watch TV with your kids daily. Put kids on a "TV diet" and limit their TV time as just to make limit on their junk food intake. You should not keep tv in your children s room. Don't let your child watch shows you know are violent.
Change the channel or turn off the TV when violent or offensive material shown during the program on tv and tell your child why you are doing such things. Parents should block the inappropriate programming. Use the ratings system, which offers information about the violent content coming on TV program. Make sure other parents and caregivers with whom your child spends time are on the same page.
In this busy, fast , expensive life, television is best ,easy and cheap source of entertainment. By watching national and international news, we are kept informed and up-to-date what is going around world. Some shows and channels (like animal planet , Discovery) gives educational information that can increase our knowledge and make us more aware about new things Some shows motivate people . To whom those who are interested in that field and help them to fulfill their dreams.
TV can increase your knowledge. Some shows give you information about travel vicariously and teach you about different people, cultures, ideas, and places you might never seen in real life. Watching a variety of shows might give us a broader understanding of the world we live in and show us to things we might never come across in our own lives. TV can make you feel like part of a family. There may be certain shows which help in health benefits by watching television. If a certain show makes you laugh
Sex, crime, and violence are frequently seen on television and may have negative effects on children (and adults!). Watching too much television is not good for your health. Studies may spoil There is not good seeing the tv for hours and hours just trying to find something worthwhile
Those who watch a lot of tv it's very hard to quit, so it is similar like alcoholism or any another addiction. Recent studies have found that up to 12% percent of TV-watchers feel unhappy about the amount of TV they watch daily , consider themselves addicts, yet feel incapable of stopping themselves.
