House Competition Friday 24th September
Friday 24th September This is your chance to show off your baking skills, channel your inner Paul Hollywood, raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support and win points for your house!
What do Macmillan do? What do Macmillan do? Macmillan Cancer Support is one of the largest British charities and provides specialist health care, information and financial support to people affected by cancer. It also looks at the social, emotional and practical impact cancer can have, and campaigns for better cancer care.
How to get involved 1. Bake something amazing at home (no nuts or nut- based ingredients due to allergies) 2. Bring your baking to A01 before school to be judged and sold at lunchtime for charity. 3. The baking will be judged at breaktime (more on that later) 4. Bring money to buy amazing baking at lunchtime
Prize Categories Best presentation Simply good-looking cakes and baking! The best- looking examples of baking will win house points for their house.
Prize Categories Best house themed baking Kingfisher iced cupcakes? Water vole shaped biscuits? Chocolate Herons? The best house themed or house coloured baking will also win house points!
At lunch time each house will have a stall to sell the baking from students in their house! Turn up to your house stall with money to buy baking and raise money for Macmillan House point prizes on offer for the house whose stall raises the most money for Macmillan cancer care!
