Here is a website for information and resources related
to Covid-19, translated into Arabic, Burmese, Chinese,
Hmong, Karen, Kinyarwanda, Russian, Somali,
Spanish, Swahili, Tigrinya, and Vietnamese.:

https://www.refugeeallianceofcentraliowa.org/covid19

IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON GOING TO
COLLEGE IN THE FALL, CONTINUE
YOUR PREPARATIONS

1. Submit college applications
2. File the
FAFSA
3. Apply for scholarships and grants if you have not
done these things already.

As of today, deadlines for state and federal
aid programs have not changed, and some
programs give priority to students who file
earlier.
FILL OUT AND FILE YOUR FAFSA

1.
Create an FSA ID (basically a username and password)
before you file. Go to
https://fsaid.ed.gov/npas/index.htm
2.
Parent/guardian creates an FSA ID. Use the same
website in step #1.
3.
Write down (or put them in your phone’s notes) both
of your usernames and passwords--you will need to
use this to file every year you are in college.
4.
Go to
www.fafsa.gov
to file your FAFSA! If you are
planning to go to college for the 2020-2021 school
year then that is the FAFSA you fill out.
