Dianne Diniz, Program Coordinator Dianne Diniz, Program Coordinator Overall responsibility for the program offered on site at the Toronto campus including: Curriculum delivery through faculty Application of policies and practices of Trent University. Liaison between the university and the college in relation to curriculum, operations, faculty, and resources. Student related supports and issues where appropriate. Works with students who are experiencing significant personal or academic issues. DECODING COURSE CODES First four letter indicate the academic subject Example: NURS = Nursing, PYSC = Psychology, etc. The numbers identify the course and the academic level Example NURS 2 2000H = second year, NURS 3 3001 = third year H = 0.5 credits (I.E. NURS 2000H) = Half Year or 1 Term Y = 1.0 credits (I.E. INDG 2000Y) = Full Year or 2 Terms C = 1.5 credits (I.E. NURS 4020C) = Clinical Course, 1 Term, 300 hours BScN = 20 credits
ELECTIVES 1.5 credits required during the degree program consisting of: 0.5 credit at the 2000-level or higher 0.5 credit at the 3000-level or higher 0.5 credit from the forced choice category What should I take? COURSE PLANNING & REGISTRATION Trent has priority registration, meaning the number of credits completed determines when a student can register.
