GRADE 7: COMPUTER SCIENCE DISCOVERIES (CSD) INFORMATION Students have the opportunity to earn Digital Tool Certificates in Web Design, Computing Essentials, and Gaming Essentials. CS Discoveries provides a fundamental understanding of Computer Science Concepts.
Problem Solving: Students will apply the CS Discoveries problem solving process throughout the course. Web Development: Students will create websites using HTML and CSS inside Code.org s Web Lab environment. Digital Tool Certification Exam: Web Design Essentials. CSD TOPICS Animations and Games: Students will design and create their own animations and games in Code.org s Game Lab Environment. Digital Tool Certification Exam: Gaming Essentials. Physical Computing: Students will explore the relationship between hardware and software
