  10. Ensure that your child reads every day. Reading as adults sets a great example for your student. Reading newspapers and magazines will show children that reading is a wonderful pastime as well as a window to the world of learning. Allow child to select passages that they are interested in . Read them together and discuss. Student s interests should play a part in book selection. Visit public libraries often.
