content area/course test, as well as the
number of items and number of points
possible.  The blueprints also outline the
domains, which are reporting categories, and
the associated content standards.  The
approximate percentage of points allocated to
each domain is provided.

Reading as adults sets a great example
for your student.  Reading newspapers
and magazines will show children that
reading is a wonderful pastime as well as
a window to the world of learning.
Allow child to select passages that they
are interested in .  Read them together
and discuss.
Student’s interests should play a part in
book selection.
Visit public libraries often.
