Example: Boys and Girls Club of SLC Our partnership is an annual engagement The SLC Boys & Girl Club Mission To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Three Pillars Opportunities for FPUA Impact 1. World Class Clubs Opportunity to coordinate a service project for FPUA employees at Boys & Girls Club 2. Life-Enriching Programs Attend and speak at a program graduation event 3. Workforce Readiness Learn & Earn Food truck operated by Boys & Girls Club kids

And many more $4,000 provided/promised so far in FY23 $500 Learn to Read of St. Lucie County $500 Treasure Coast Food Bank Student Bowls Against Hunger $1000 Fort Pierce Sunrise Kiwanis Foundation for Education $500 Treasure Coast Food Bank $1000 BlueBird (Jazz) Educational Foundation $500 Family Meals, Inc.
Utility Bill Assistance In 2020, during the COVID-19 Pandemic, FPUA redirected $150,000 of Conservation Funds to assist FPUA customers with their utility bills. $50,000 disbursed through the Agriculture & Labor Program Inc. $100,000 disbursed through Mustard Seed Ministries 638 households assisted When natural gas prices soared, during the summer of 2022, FPUA redirected $50,000 of Conservation Funds to utility bill assistance 340 households assisted Many employees contribute a part of their paycheck to United Way of SLC In 2022, 89 employees donated over $9,200
FPUA Supports Beyond Funds Food Drive Each quarter, FPUA collects food donations from each building and delivers them to local churches and nonprofits, including Sunrise Tabernacle Church, Ft. Pierce First Church of the Nazarene, Ft. Pierce Seventh Day Adventist, and Family Meals. In 2022, employees donated over 1,000 pounds of food. Holiday Toy Drives Every year, FPUA staff look forward to adopting kids for toy donations through the Salvation Army Angels program and also donating to Toys for Tots
Volunteer Incentive Program Employees are encouraged to be active in our communities, lending support to programs that positively impact the quality of life. Employees earn paid time off based on their annual contribution, a max. of 1 paid day off. Many employees bring their children to further encourage support in our community. In 2022, over 30 employees volunteered over 850 hours.
