  2. What are magnets? Magnets are made from materials such as iron and nickel. They can stick to some metals, but not others. Magnets have a north pole and a south pole. S N

  3. Magnets that attract When the north pole of a magnet is placed near the south pole of another magnet, they will attract each other. S S N N

  4. Magnets that repel When two poles that are the same are placed near each other, they will repel each other. For example, north to north and south to south. S N N S N S S N

  5. How are magnets used in products? Think of the different types of product that use magnets. Produce a spider chart to list these products. Products that use magnets
