European Health Workforce Planning and Forecasting Workshop Recap
In the workshop held in Milan on September 19-20, 2013, Giovanni Leonardi and Michel Van Hoegaerden discussed the goals and outcomes of the joint action on European health workforce planning. Participants deliberated on topics such as affordability, demand and quality of healthcare, access to education, and workforce distribution. Key targets included affordability of production, mapping movements of professionals, and retention strategies.
