  3. FILTERING MS OPEN DATA - Definition of open data specified and available in the MIWP 2019.2 wiki. (equivalent to CC-BY) - MS instructions received from majority of MS, but in very heterogeneous form - In the Harvesting console protected area - the xPath definition for each MS discovery service will be provided to be checked and maintained by relevant MS admins. - Update of the Geoportal front end apps - New open data icon placed to relevant data sets records + new filter - Planned for the next release (end of January 2020)

  4. Use of authentication layers - - Allowed by INSPIRE legislation But it creates a clear user barrier for the use, application development etc. Two major aspects to follow: 1)EC check during the harvesting + introducing 2(3) downloadable icons (with or without auth., not tested?) - For each service individually or MS harmonised? - Each MS to instruct EC how to perform the necessary service tests on their resources - MS instructions received could be stored in the Harvesting console protected area for MS to maintain. 2)Provision of clear user instructions (multilingual) how, for what (e.g. fee services, monitoring users..) to register = get the credentials

  5. Organisation of data for publishing - Nr. Of layers per View service - Nr. Of feature types per Download service - Size of Downloadable datasets - Stability of network services Check regularly your resources published EU Geoportal
