Clarify

You must clarify
whenever you:
Read a word you don’t
understand.
Find that sentence
doesn’t make sense.
Are confused by what
you have read.

Think about what you
did to help you
understand.

Question

Ask and answer

help you to understand
what has been read.
If you ask a question
you must know the
answer or be willing to
learn from others.

Who…
What…
When…
Where…
Why…
How…
What if…

Summarise

Feedback from year 4

I think it has very valid learning skills and it is good to be able
to use the skills that it gives you.
I really like it because then when I’m reading my book at
home I feel like I really understand what I’m reading.
I like it how it usually makes me learn new words because I
don’t know a lot of the words in the text.
I think it’s really good because it’s also good for a cool down
and prepares you for English lessons. It incorporates a lot of
skills we need in our hot tasks.
It helps to build up speed of reading.
