Link to Existing Opportunity How to link to an existing opportunity in SFDC when starting a new project in OQT: 1. Navigate to the new project tab 2. Select link to an existing opportunity 3. Click the magnifying glass icon
Link to Existing Opportunity Search for the opportunity starting with the job name. Search results will post in the field below the search window. Select the correct opportunity and the RID will post into the search field on the previous page. Then click continue. Selecting the SFDC opportunity will populate project and quote headers/locations as well as the vertical market.
Naming Convention Structure In an effort to align projects in SFDC with jobs at the quote stage, the naming structure in OQT will be modified. Name of Entity will show at the Project level and Name of Space will show at the Quote level. Naming convention changes are also visible on the search page.
Primary Influencers OQT will now require users to input the primary Lutron Influencer Selecting the Primary Lutron Influencer field will bring up a text box pre-loaded with the specifiers currently in our address book. The secondary specifier field allows users to enter additional influencers and identify their role in the project.
Archived Projects We are archiving old open projects in the quote database. They will be searchable by putting OQT into archive mode. Select the Search Archive Projects button to switch into archive mode. Any Project archived will be read- only and cannot be unarchived Criteria for archiving projects: -No Ordered Quotes under the project ID -Nothing created or revised since Jan 1, 2015 If an archived project needs to be re- engaged it will need to be re-quoted under a different project ID. OQT users will be able to export the BOM if necessary.
