How do we make decisions? Sometimes impulsively, without fully considering the consequences of our actions
How do we make decisions? Based on emotions like anger or fear, or because we re hungry, tired or anxious.
How do we make decisions? Indifferently, when we don t really care about the outcome, or don t think our choices make a difference
How do we make decisions? To make other people happy, or to avoid conflict.
How do we make decisions? Based on what other people are doing, influenced by their actions or opinions. Sample line Line A Line B Line C
How do we make decisions? Based on past experiences, good or bad.
How do we make decisions? Through research and critical thinking, considering our choices and their possible outcomes.
How do we make decisions? Sometimes by walking away, trying not to make a decision at all.
Build your decision-making skills Break big decisions up into a series of smaller ones Make less-important decisions to practice Recognize and acknowledge when you are making decisions Make a list of decisions you made that had positive outcomes
After the decision is made Identify: How did you make it? How do you feel about it? What was the outcome? If it wasn t right, or you ve outgrown your decision make another one.
