  4. CCQs 1. What are CCQs and ICQs Comprehension Check Questions? Concept Check Questions? Instruction Check Questions? What are all 3 checking? Comprehension!!!

  5. CCQs CCQs: Comprehension Check Questions Are shears used in a house? Which one are shears? Picture 1 or 2 Where do you find shears, inside or outside of the house? What do you cut with shears?

  6. CCQs 3 Types of CCQs 1) Yes/No Are these shears? 2) Discrimination Which one are the shears? Which one is used outside? 3) Limited Answers What can you cut with shears?

  15. CCQs Abuse 1. Don t over use them. 2.Students will ignore you. 3.Can become condescending. 4.Can create a lack of trust.

  17. Modeling Tips for modeling 1. Make videos 2. Build it into your lesson 3. Be detailed/ become them 4. Minimal speaking 5. Use students for repetition/ practice
