  4. Rules It is high time + past indifinite tense (sub+v2) 1. 2. It was high time + past perfect tense (sub+had+v3) Example: it is high time we went to college It was high time we had gone to college. Too ----to ( subject+verb+too+ adj + to+ v1+ etc) Example The fan is too high to touch. The poem is toodifficult to momorise The poem was toodifficult for the students to momorise. The man was so weak that he cannot walk. (simple) The load was so heavy that the boy can not carry it. (simple) The man was too weak to walk. The load was too heavy for the boy to carry.

  7. Rules So that / sub+ present indefinite/ past indefinite+sothat + subject+can/could+v1+etc. Example: Sajakastudiesattentively so that she can pass in the exam. Sajika studied attentively so that she could pass in the exam. With a view to / With a view to + verb+ ing Example: I went to market with a view to buying a shirt. I went to market to buya shirt.
