Cricket Young Ambassadors Introductions / Icebreakers
What is Cricket Young Ambassadors? The future of our game should be in the hands of those that will be involved, giving young people the opportunity to forge their own cricketing futures. The purpose of this programme is to empower and inspire young people to take ownership of the game of cricket, giving them opportunities to achieve their personal best in whatever aspect of the game that they choose from leading/coaching others, officiating planning, delivering cricket and sharing ideas of how to continue to evolve the game. Cricket Wales Young Ambassadors play a crucial role in helping to encourage their peers to become hooked on cricket. The Cricket Young Ambassadors programme enables young people to gain valuable experience and develop skills that can be applied to all walks of life. Leaders in the programme will be offered support to gain cricket related qualifications such as the Cricket Activator course and the Coach Support Worker qualifications. Young Ambassadors can track their volunteer hours and get rewarded for hitting each hourly milestone.
