Draft CATZOC Allocation Scheme in China MSA - DQWG-18 Meeting
China MSA has developed a draft CATZOC allocation scheme based on investigation and research. The scheme considers various factors affecting CATZOC and is currently under evaluation. New survey data and old survey data are discussed, along with actions requested from the Data Quality Working Group (DQWG) to provide guidance on CATZOC allocation to Member States.

18thMeeting of the Data Quality Working Group Draft CATZOC Allocation Scheme of China MSA Agenda Item 5.6A DQWG-18, Monaco, 7- 9 February 2023
1. INTRODUCTION Recently, China MSAhas carried out investigation and research. On the basis of fully considering various factors affecting CATZOC and considering the current situation in China, a draft CATZOC allocation Scheme has been preliminarily formulated. The draft allocation Scheme is currently being evaluated by China MSA and will be formally implemented after it is approved.
2. ACTIONS The DQWG is requested to: a. Note the information provided; b. Complete the Guidelines and recommendations for Hydrographic Offices for the allocation of CATZOC as soon as possible, so as to provide guidance on the CATZOC allocation to Member States.
