What are you doing to attract customers to your store for fun Halloween promotions? Halloween event weekend - started out as a pet parade but that didn't work out well, so they changed it to Trick or Treat from 6 Ft. This year they're doing Trick or Treat to the Beat. Lots of stores/businesses coming & setting up spooky booths in parking lot - food trucks & live music etc. Super fun & community oriented. Trick or treating in lesson rooms. Apart from dressing up they dont do a special Halloween event/activities but looking for great ideas from the group. Just normal sales promos at this time of year Typically have not done much around Halloween. Likes idea of trick & treating in lesson studios. Halloween is like the new Christmas - you can get creative. Best year was when Halloween fell on a Sunday & so they opened & they were packed - parents really like Trunk or Treat. Witches Night Out you invite all your witches to head into your store for witches brew, music themed events like a uke circle etc Ask your neighborhood florist if they'll give you any wilted flowers, wrap in tissue & attach a coupon tied back to a creepy theme to return back for a 20% discount. Haunted Stockroom theme. Pre-black Friday sale right now to get rid of overstocked items. Fall social media promo ideas - Sleepy Hollow is the next town over from them so they participated in the Sleepy Hollow Halloween Parade - they had their band on the truck all dressed up in Halloween costumes. Great for social media. One music store in CA the manager is dressing up in a different costume every day in October for social media promo in conjunction with their 10th anniversary. Attention grabbing! Facebook costume contest is popular - get customers to pick winner & store provides a prize - gift cert to store. Whatever you do large or small make sure you take photos to promote it on social media
