TYPES 1. Obstetrive artery disease
1. Obstructive coronary artery disease Obstructive coronary artery disease is the gradual narrowing or closing of arteries that supply the heart with blood. 1. Non obstructive coronary artery disease; Nonobstructive coronary artery disease (CAD) is atherosclerotic plaque that would not be expected to obstruct blood flow or result in anginal symptoms.
1.Spontaneous coronary artery disease: Spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD) occurs when a tear in the wall of your coronary artery partially or completely blocks blood flow. This tear happens unexpectedly and often presents as a heart attack
PREVENTION Don t smoke or use tobacco Get moving: Aim for at least 30 to 60 minutes of activity daily Eat healthy diet Maintain a healthy weight Get good quality sleep Manage stress Get regular health screenings
