
Conservation Strategy Advisory Committee Report
The Conservation Strategy Advisory Committee provided expertise to the Board on how the Conservation Strategy and its measurable objectives relate to the 2017 Central Valley Flood Protection Plan. The report will serve as guidance for the Board as it considers the Flood Plan. The committee discussed key themes, identified areas of commonality, and outlined future meeting topics. The next meeting is scheduled for December 4, 2015, to review and understand the Conservation Strategy language and intent. Presented by Senior Environmental Scientist Andrea Buckley, the report highlights the progress made and recommendations for the Board.

Previous Board Actions: August 22, 2014 Stakeholders expressed a desire to activate the Advisory Committee to advise the Board on measurable objectives September 26, 2014 Board activated the Advisory Committee and appointed Vice President Emma Suarez and Clyde Macdonald as representatives October 9, 2015 Board Workshop on the Conservation Strategy 3
