Common Core Standards, school climate, and family

Form six groups.
 
Each group will read and discuss one document:
Risk and protective factors for pregnancy and STIs
Common Core Standards for ELA-Grade 4
Common Core Standards for ELA-Grade 5
Common Core Standards for ELA-Grade 6
National Sexuality Education Standards by Grade 5
National Sexuality Education Standards by Grade 8
 
Each group will review one curriculum.
 
Look for intersections between sex education curriculum and the document.
 
After 15 minutes, report out to large group
