WELL-ROUNDED HEALTH First Year Florida
FOUR CORNERS Working out 3-5 times per week is important for good physical health. The only way to eat well is to cook your own food at home most days of the week Going to the doctor only when you are sick or have a need is a sign of good health Spiritual health is important to being in good well-rounded health Always being able to accept and communicate your feelings to others is important Coping with stress by working hard and getting things done is healthy and positive Learning for the sake of learning new things is important to good health Participating in sustainable efforts is important for good health You can be unhappy with your job and still maintain good well-rounded health
PHYSICAL WELLNESS Perception and expectation of physical health Exercising Regularly Eating Properly Getting Regular Physical Checkups Avoiding the use of detrimental substances
SPIRITUAL WELLNESS A Positive perception of meaning and purpose in life Being open to different cultures and religions Giving time to volunteer Spending time defining values, beliefs, and ethics Spending time in personal reflection Caring about the welfare of others
SOCIAL WELLNESS A perception of having support available from family, friends, or co-workers in times of need and a perception of being a valued support provider Being comfortable with yourself as a person Contributing time and energy to the community Communicating your feelings Building friendships and meaningful relationships Recognizing the need for fun time in your life Time management
