3. BTEC Applied Science extended certificate BTEC Applied Science is vocational course . 4 units which build scientific skills. Units include: Unit 1- Principles and application of science I Unit 2 - Practical Scientific Procedures and Techniques Unit 3- Practical scientific skills Unit 8- Physiology of human biology system Unit 1 and 3 are externally assessed elements Course content includes all science disciplines biology, physics and chemistry.

4. Skills To demonstrate knowledge of scientific facts, terms and definitions. Conduct practicals, analyse and interpret results.
