Goal: Increase referrals of students to the University

Tactic: Each member of the Alumni Board should either do at
least one of the following actions per year: (A) refer one student
to the University of the Ozarks admission office; (B) refer to the
Ozarks admission office a tangible opportunity to recruit students
(such as knowledge of a collect fair or church youth group to
recruit from); or (C) with the guidance and approval of the
admission department, volunteer to assist with recruiting efforts.

Increase Alumni Engagement With Prospective Students Current Students Through Alumni Community Careers Awareness
Prospective Student Goal: Increase referrals of students to the University Tactic: Each member of the Alumni Board should either do at least one of the following actions per year: (A) refer one student to the University of the Ozarks admission office; (B) refer to the Ozarks admission office a tangible opportunity to recruit students (such as knowledge of a collect fair or church youth group to recruit from); or (C) with the guidance and approval of the admission department, volunteer to assist with recruiting efforts. Update 02/2019: Board members reporting to have referred students to Ozarks: 5 Board members reporting to assist in recruiting efforts: 2 Feedback: Board members would like some pamphlets or other information for recruitment. Board members reach out to guidance counselors at local high schools and provide information.
Current Students Goal: Provide life / career guidance to current students annually. Tactic- Each member of the Alumni Board should share at least one career-based opportunity each year with current Ozarks students. Update 02/2019: Board members providing life guidance to current students: 3
Alumni Goal 1: Increase Alumni financial support of the University Tactic - Each member of the Alumni Board should donate to the University each calendar year. 100 percent participation, regardless of the size of gifts. Update 02/2019: As of 2/4/19 83% of the Alumni Association Board has donated this fiscal year. Goal 2: Increase Alumni Associate relationship with fellow alumni Tactic - Host or assist in the planning of an alumni event in your area; Tactic - Solicit other alumni for contributions to the University; Tactic - Attend or invite others to attend alumni weekend activities. Update 02/2019: Board members hosting or assisted in planning of an alumni event: 7 Board members who have solicited any other alumni for contributions to the university: 6 Board member who have attended an alumni weekend event: 8 Feedback: Give a list of alumni in the geographic area of board members so they can reach out to them. Have each board member submit at least one recommendation to join the board.
