The price of fuel depends entirely on the political situation and the price of oil, which (oil) according to many experts will not last more than another 50 years. An even more well-considered advantage of Electric Cars is the ability to charge them; whether at home or in parking lots. People living in private houses e.g. they can simply plug the vehicle into a regular outlet when they get home from work, and set off the next morning with the batteries fully charged. Fleet vehicles that are charged by intelligent charging systems offer maximum cost savings, thanks also to advanced management equipment. Currently, the fastest method of charging Electric Cars is known as DC Fast Charging. Through it, most Electric Cars reach 80% charge in 30 minutes. Every Electric Car owner can also connect his home charging station with solar panels and benefit from "0-carbon". However, even without home charging, charging at a charging station is becoming more and more possible. Noise pollution is harmful to public health and internal combustion engines of gasoline/diesel powered vehicles are one of the main sources of it. According to a study published by the NIEHS (National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences), "Tens of millions of Americans have developed health problems due to exposure to noise, including heart disease and hearing loss." The same study claims that "approximately 100 million people in the US (about 50% of the population) have high and harmful exposures to traffic noise." At 100 km, the average internal noise of an Internal Combustion car is about 70db. Electric vehicles, on the other hand, are almost "explosive". The NHSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) in America has published the new law that, to help pedestrians recognize that an Electric Car is approaching them, any electric or hybrid vehicle under 50 tons must produce an audible noise, although the noise must to be artificially created. For example, the Model S P100D from Tesla reaches 100 km in 2.28 seconds, becoming the first series production car to reach 100 km in less than 2.3 seconds. This is because Electric Cars offer a superior power-to- weight ratio compared to traditional cars. Additionally, electric motors enable instant torque and greater amounts of available power. Even relatively weak electric motors usually accelerate faster than similar-powered internal-combustion cars. Most central and local governments around the globe provide financial subsidies for consumers to purchase Electric Cars. A tax credit of $2,500 to $7,500 is given to each new Electric Vehicle purchased in the US. However, the exact schemes and amounts given to individuals are available on official government websites. According to a study done by the University of California, the federal tax program was the main reason that 30% of buyers got an Electric Car. Any accident involving an electric vehicle immediately attracts media attention, but the fact remains that electric cars are much safer than cars with internal combustion engines.
