London Mayor's Warmer Homes Programme aims to improve energy efficiency in private rented sector homes through funding for low-carbon heating and fabric improvements. The programme targets homes with EPC ratings D-G and incomes below £20k, offering grants for measures like heat pumps, insulation, and double glazing. Landlords are required to contribute a portion of the costs, and tenants can apply through the GLA Warmer Homes portal for eligibility screening and funding allocation.
