Important Dates August 8thPractice Starts JV White 7:00 10:00 am JV Blue/Varsity 7:00 10 am (Labor day) August 9th-12thand 15th 17th5:30 6:45 am practice. (We will be done by 3:45 on these days) August 13thAll Levels (Scrimmage) August 18thScrimmage vs Oak Ridge (5:30pm JV/7pm Varsity) Homecoming September 10thvs Heights October 1stSenior Night vs United Oct. 3rd 7th(School s Out)WE STILL HAVE Practice and a game (IT IS MANDATORY to be at all practices and games) **All Dates are also on the KHS Football Website Calendar**
Accountability Players are expected to be at every practice and at every game. (Family Death or Sickness are the only excuses) If an Athlete misses practice they must text/email their coach. (Please make DR./Dentist/other appointments at other times.(Not during practice times) Missing Practice: 1sttime must make up and will miss half a game 2ndtime must make up and will miss 1 game 3rdtime must make up, miss 1 game and will be put on a contract. (If the contract is broken, then they will be removed from the team)

Player Tribute Ad for Program (optional) 4. Mandatory Player Fees 5. Fan wear (optional on Square Store) 6. Driveway Horseshoe A Google form was previously sent out. If you are interested, please complete the google form as soon as possible. *All forms have been updated and are on the football website.

Typical Weekly Schedule for Varsity Week Assuming a Friday Night Varsity Game: Wednesdays Optional Position Dinners / Organized by Players Thursdays Players wear Spirit Shirts to School and at Sub Varsity game. Team Dinner Short Team Meeting Attend Sub Varsity games at KHS Parents decorate Locker Room (beginning at ~7- 7:30 pm) Varsity Football 2022
Typical Schedule for Varsity Games Fridays (Game Day) Players wear Game Day Polo's to School Parents gather at school for Send Off (4:15 pm) Traditionally, after home games, families meet at Palomas. Parents order player s meal so it s ready for their arrival. All parents cheer for players as they arrive. Stay tuned for an update on this tradition. Team Dinner Team Dinners are on the night before the Varsity game. Usually on Thursdays. See the sign-up for volunteer opportunities.

Fillie Buddy All Varsity Players are Assigned a Fillie Buddy Please ensure your player thanks them for treats. Thank you card/small token for last game is encouraged.
