Broad areas of signal processing activities at the Centre of Excellence in Signal Processing include audio, speech, language, medical image processing, computer vision, wireless communications, and machine learning. The center focuses on addressing various challenges in audio/speech recognition, emotion recognition, language identification, image processing, CAD algorithm development, brain atlas development, sports analytics, wireless communication, coding for efficient delivery, IOT applications, and VLSI/embedded systems. Technical progress from 2013-2016 and April to September 2016 includes resource creation, academic activities, collaborations, and externally funded R&D projects.
