New York Daily News, November 5, 2013 A Faberge figure commissioned by Russian Czar Nicholas II for his wife, Empress Alexandra, was discovered by the descendants of George Davis, a gallery owner. The Russian figurine was stashed in Davis upstate New York attic for almost 70 years. It sold at auction for $5.2 million.
