THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU Monday 4thJanuary- 2pm, we were expecting to return to the academy on Monday 11thJanuary Monday 4thJanuary 6pm, we will not be returning to the academy until February Half Term (at the earliest) Wednesday 27thJanuary, we will not be returning to the academy until March 9th(at the earliest) Teachers had to implement virtual learning Outstanding Parental Support

  3. Virtual Learning @ City Heights Key questions parents asked; 1, What virtual learning will take place, will students have live lessons? 2, Who do I contact if my son/daughter cant register, something isn t working or we have an issue? 3, Is my son or daughter eligible to go into the academy?

  4. 1, What virtual learning will take place, will students have live lessons? All students logged on by 9am, lessons commence @9.30am- 3.15pm Year 11- will have 100% live lessons. Link to lessons posted on the google classroom of that subject. Teacher available throughout to answer any questions about the work. Year 10- Will have 50% live lessons. Link to lessons posted on the google classroom of that subject. Teacher available throughout to answer any questions about the work. Year 7/9- will have a live lesson daily, with work posted on google classroom. Following normal timetable.

  5. 2, Who do I contact if my son/daughter cant register, something isn t working or we have an issue? We have made sure that all pastoral and safeguarding leads have academy mobile phones. They will be available between 8.15am & 3.15pm. Welfare Calls All students will receive a call once every two weeks (as a minimum) Teachers will speak to the parent and the student; -About the well being-of the child? -Is the work accessible? -Update the family about what work the student has handed-in. (feedback on the work will be provided directly from the classroom teacher)

  7. 3, Is my son or daughter eligible to go into the academy? If a parent is unsure, please speak to the pastoral manager for the year group, who will make clear on guidance and escalate if needed. -Critical Worker Students -Vulnerable students
