The Integrity Pacts Project in Slovenia, a collaboration between the Ministry of Health and Transparency International, aims to increase transparency, accountability, and good governance in public contracting.   3. INTEGRITY PACTS PROJECT OBJECTIVES Increasing transparency, accountability and good governance in public contracting Enhancing trust in public authorities and contribute to their better reputation Improving competition, promote cost efficiency and savings through better procurement.

INTEGRITY PACTS PROJECT IN SLOVENIA Part of the Integrity Pacts initiative by European Commission and Transparency International Pact signed in 2016 between Ministry of Health and TI Slovenia for monitoring public procurement proceedures for energy renovation of general hospitals in Slovenia Country context: many past cases where public money was overspent (e.g. building of highways by 30 %)
