  1. Applied and Translational Research to Meet SDG: Landmark Leading Africa into Limelight

  2. Clear Vision in a Strange Terrain A boy was asked how on earth he hopes to make his dream of becoming a Doctor with an SSCE combination of Agric and Yoruba. His Reply: I need Agric to produce herbs. I need Yoruba to recite incantations. With the two I can heal the world.

  3. Clear Vision in a Strange Terrain Compare that candidate with Nigeria that is reputed to have one of the highest Professor- to-Population Ratios in the whole world. Even higher than the US. Yet Nigeria is an importer nation.

  4. Clear Vision in a Strange Terrain Compare again with the Okun Subethnic People of Kogi State: Reputed to have the highest number of Professors in Nigeria. Yet hardly has any product for the nation other than Professors.

  5. Clear Vision in a Strange Terrain In the 70s and 80s Nigerians scorned graduate products from Indian and Chinese universities. But today, those countries dominate much of Nigerian household equipment. They had a clear vision of how to dominate the world, And pursued the vision despite derision at the early stage.

  6. Clear Vision in a Strange Terrain For India and China, education was not, and still is not, for the luxury of Certification. It is for productivity. That is why Nigerians think up an idea, (We have the brain) but travel to China (We lack the Home Pride) to get the idea translated into a product (We lack the motivation) to be imported back into Nigeria (We love imported-ness)
