Quarterly General Meeting Updates and Selection Committee Activities
The Quarterly General Meeting held on May 12, 2022, discussed the Selection Commission members and their activities. The Commission has been preparing for upcoming international events such as the World Championships, Commonwealth Games, Caribbean Games, and World Athletics U20 Championships. Despite limited international events, the Commission has successfully completed preliminary entries and qualified athletes for these competitions.

Selection Commission The Selection Committee has not been very active during this review period due limited international events that required standards being set by the Commission. The long list for the World Championships in July and the Commonwealth Games in August have been completed as well as the Caribbean Games in June. The preliminary entries for World Athletics U20 Championships which is scheduled for August are due on May 3, 2022. Two athletes have made the qualifying standards for this event. 3
