FPL SolarNow designed to provide customers with an easy way to help move solar energy forward in Florida FPL SolarNow is a community-supported solar program Program Overview Customers volunteer to support the program through an on bill contribution FPL installs, operates, and maintains the projects at no cost to the host Host sites provide the space/location for the project Solar energy built in local communities www.fpl.com/solarnow Host locations are an integral part of the program s success 2

The FPL SolarNow projects where participants live and come together as a community FPL SolarNow Program - Participation Program is committed to building solar Palm Coast has high participation in the program with over 250 participants Host locations will be viewed as clean energy leaders in the community 3

FPL SolarNow the public, highly visible, and viewed as a community asset projects work best in areas that are open to SolarNow Program Benefits Funded by Program participants no cost to the City Recognize residents currently contributing to the Program Educate about solar benefits and applications Integrate solar into communities in an aesthetically pleasing way Highlight the City s sustainability and renewable energy initiatives Host locations should be pedestrian friendly, open areas with limited shade, and where people of all ages and interests come together 4
